Certified Expertise

A rare combination of nursing experience and licensed counseling — which means I understand you as a whole person, not just a presenting problem.

Personalized Care

No cookie-cutter approach here. I listen with genuine empathy, reflects back what I notice, and tailor every session to what you actually need.

Hello, I am Cheryl

Your Trusted Counselor.

I'm so glad you're here.

Maybe you're lying awake at night worrying about your marriage — wondering how you and your spouse became strangers under the same roof. Maybe you have an adult child whose choices are breaking your heart and you don't know how to love them without losing yourself. Or maybe you're so busy holding everyone else together — your kids, your parents, your partner — that you can't remember the last time someone asked how you were doing.

This is exactly who I show up for.

I'm a wife, a mom to adult children, and a nurse who spent years caring for people before becoming a licensed counselor. I didn't come to this work from a textbook — I came to it from real life. And I know that this season, as full and as heavy as it can be, doesn't have to be something you just survive.

You deserve more than that. Let's find it together.

How it works

The 4 Easy Steps

1.

Reach Out

Send a message or give Cheryl a call. No lengthy intake forms, no pressure — just a simple first contact to let her know you're interested. That one small move is often the hardest part, and it matters more than you know.

2.

Schedule Your Free Discovery Call

Book a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation so you can get a feel for my approach and ask any questions before committing to anything. This is a no-obligation conversation — just two people seeing if it's a good fit.

3.

Book Your First Session

If the consultation feels right, you'll schedule your first full session — either in person at in Montgomery or virtually from wherever is most comfortable for you.

4.

Start Doing the Work

Your first session is the beginning of something. Cheryl will get to know your story, understand what you're navigating, and start building a personalized plan together. You bring the honesty — she'll bring the tools, the empathy, and the direction.
